Walk the dunes, swim in Dionis Beach and 40th Pole Beach, or visit the nearby Linda Loring Nature Foundation while you are here on your Nantucket vacation.
Nicknamed "the bathtub" 40th Pole Beach has been a mainstay with families for generations. The calm waters of the north shore as well as the shallow tides make this a wonderful spot for children. Dionis Beach is lifeguarded and has restrooms available, however, there are no concession stands.
Linda Loring Nature Foundation is a tract of land that encompasses over 250 acres. It is an open classroom for the study and preservation of wildlife. Linda Loring started acquiring this land in 1957 and established the Foundation in 1999.
