Joelle spent a few summers working as an office assistant at a busy real estate firm before she graduated from the SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music with degrees in Music Performance and Music Education. After graduation, she moved to Nantucket full time to continue her career in Real Estate. Joelle has been an active real estate agent since 1995.  She received her Graduate Realtor Institute in 2004, is an Accredited Buyer Representative, and most recently earned her SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure) certification. While living on Nantucket, she also attended a satellite program through Cambridge College where she worked on her Masters in Business Management. Joelle is very knowledgeable in both sales and rentals and works hard to provide the highest level of service to her clients and customers.

In the fast pace of real estate, music gradually fell by the wayside.  In 2002, the past Director of the Nantucket Community Music Center contacted Joelle in need of a clarinet teacher.  She went on to serve on the Board of Trustees of NCMC for 6 years, taught clarinet lessons for the organization and still performs in a number of small ensembles, including playing saxophone in the NCMC’s Jazz Band.  Joelle met her husband, John Bouchard, on Nantucket and they are very fortunate to be raising their young family on this wonderful island.
