Edward started to summer on Nantucket in 1978. Educated at the University of Massachusetts in the sciences and business management, Edward spent much of his professional life patenting and manufacturing loudspeaker enclosures which were sold internationally.

Nearly a decade ago Edward turned his attention full time to real estate. He became a Broker in 2006 and is licensed in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He has earned most of the Realtor designations and certifications including the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Edward also holds the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist Certification (RSPS), is Loss Mitigation Certified (LMC), and possesses the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) for which he is also an instructor.

Edward has been appointed the National Association of Realtors President’s Liaison to South Africa. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Realtor Association of the Pioneer Valley and its Professional Standards Committee, and a State Director for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors where he also serves on its International Committee.

Of particular interest to Edward is his involvement in international real estate. He is a member of FIABCI-USA, The International Real Estate Federation, and serves as the U.S. Chapter’s Treasurer, is on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Globally for FIABCI, Edward is Coordinator for Education, Training, and Technology for its World Council of Brokers. His global real estate activities have enabled him to establish and maintain a large global referral network in over 60 countries as well as domestically.

Edward is active with the Masons and Shriners and is a member of the York and Scottish Rites. He has been a two term master of his Lodge and is honored to be one of the Past District Deputy Grand Masters of the 27^th Masonic District.

He is an avid catch and release fisherman, loves gardening, collects Japanese art, and holds a commercial fixed wing pilots license. He also likes to write and play piano and guitar. He has lived in Japan and he and his family have traveled extensively.

Edward is married to Patricia, a nurse practitioner, and his wife of 30 years. He has two grown sons working in New York City. Edward is very proud of his family and their accomplishments, and loves to spend time with his sons whenever possible.
