 Amy Santos is a 4th Generation Nantucket Native. Her first job, at age 14, was at the lunch counter at Nantucket Pharmacy. Other part-time jobs were: Skipper Sundae’s and Island Pharmacy. Entering her Senior year in high school, Amy joined the work-study program in the pressroom of the Inquirer & Mirror. She graduated fromNantucketHigh School in 1985 and decided to remain on this beautiful island she calls home. Shortly after graduating, Amy was promoted to Circulation Manager at the Inquirer & Mirror, a position she continued until 1998. In 1998 she accepted her present position as Office Manager for Jordan Real Estate. She is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker. She was a Team Member for the 2003 Iron Man Race and volunteered in the VIP Tent at the 2006 Blue Angels Air Show. In her spare time Amy enjoys going to the gym, walking, biking, reading, traveling, baking and relaxing on the beach. She has a son, Stephen, who lives and works on Martha’s Vineyard and is a volunteer fire firefighter with the West Tisbury Fire Department. He, and a cat, Gracie, make her life complete.
