The exciting heavy surf of the Atlantic Ocean, with beaches stretching from Tom Nevers Bluff to Madaket, makes the Island's South Shore an ever-popular destination. The South Shore includes Cisco, Miacomet, Surfside and Tom Nevers.

The East Side

The East Side

From Great Point with its lighthouse to 'Sconset Village's quaint rose-covered cottages, the East Side has soaring bluffs and quiet beaches facing the Atlantic, with views "all the way to Portugal." The East Side includes Quidnet, 'Sconset, Squam and Wauwinet.

The West End

The West End

Fishing, wide beaches and a small harbor make the West End of the island special, but its spectacular sunsets are always its most talked-about asset. The West Side includes Madaket and the islands of Tuckernuck and Muskeget.
